UDC Amendments - postcard notice

The Unified Development Code (UDC) is the primary guide to development within the City of Cibolo. The purpose of the UDC is to promote the public health, safety and general welfare of its citizens as well as the safe, orderly and healthful development of the city.  It incorporates procedures, standards and regulations for zoning as well as subdivision applications.

The adoption of the 2016 Comprehensive/Master Plan and development continuing at an accelerated pace has triggered the need to update our guidelines.  The primarily focus of this update is for consistency and to balance the needs of the City and the development community.  The proposed updates reflect input from the UDC Committee spanning over eleven (11) open to the public meetings, a joint workshop including multiple advisory groups, professionals within the development community and staff.  Below are links to the 2018 Redlined UDC (DRAFT), a document that addresses frequently asked questions (FAQs), UDC Committee Letter of Recommendation and a video clip of the UDC discussion/action item from the April 11, 2018 P&Z Commission's meeting.

As part of the public input process, the redlined UDC will be posted online to provide property owners that received a postcard in the mail, additional information prior to any public hearings.  Any questions and/or comments may be submitted to staff via phone or email.
