Welcome

Welcome to the City of Cibolo Police Department. The Cibolo Police Department is made up of 23 employees who are dedicated to improving the life of the citizens of the City of Cibolo by reducing crime and making Cibolo the safest place to live in the United States. The City of Cibolo enjoys the lowest crime rate the Metrocom area and the Police Department strives to maintain this ranking even through the rapid growth which has occurred within our community. The Police Department practices a community oriented philosophy to form partnerships with citizens and community organizations in an effort to enhance the quality of life within our community.

The Cibolo Police Department is centrally located within the City at 109 South Main in Cibolo, Texas. A new Public Safety facility was approved by voters in 2008 and is currently under construction with an anticipated completion date of July 2010.

Online Forms

The Cibolo Police Department offers a variety of ways to submit information and request services on the Web site.

  • House Watch Request - Remember to send this form at least three days before the date you are leaving in order to process your request properly. The House Watch Program is designed to provide homeowners a means of having their residence checked periodically by an officer when they are away from home on vacation or an extended weekend.
  • Citizens Police Academy - Apply for the Cibolo Police Department's 11-week Citizen Police Academy online.
  • Citizen Complaint Form - This form will be forwarded directly to the Office of Professional Standards. An investigator will conduct a follow-up interview.

Services
  • Fingerprinting Services - Fingerprinting services are provided to the public Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 am - 11:00am 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Crime Information
  • Sex Offenders - The Sex Offender Registry includes Public Sex Offender Registration information submitted to DPS by local law enforcement agencies.
  • Victims Assistance - The Victim Assistance Program strives to have a positive impact in providing appropriate responses to the needs of all crime victims.
  • Home Security Information - This program is designed to encourage citizens to become more involved in crime prevention by reducing opportunities for residential burglary.

  • Victims' Assistance - The Cibolo Police Department's Victim Assistance Program strives to have a positive impact in providing appropriate responses to the needs of all crime victims to lessen the short and long-term trauma experienced as a direct result of victimization.
  • Citizen's Police Academy - Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a police officer? Please join us for our 3rd session of our Citizens Police Academy.
  • Neighborhood Watch - Neighborhood Watch is a Community Policing partnership program that rapidly expanded nation-wide in the 1970's to combat significant increases in residential crime.
