Did you know that as many as 90% of child passenger safety seats are used incorrectly? The Cibolo Police Department has certified safety seat technicians to assure you are using the child seat correctly. An appointment must be made to have the seat checked. Complete the form (PDF) to have your seat checked. Each check is based on a specific child, specific seat, and specific vehicle so please complete the required sections of the form and bring the child to the appointment. If the child is not yet born the check can still be completed.
Each check takes about 30 minutes per seat. It is highly preferred to have the seat user manuals present at the check.
