The Cibolo Police Department and Cibolo Fire Department first joined together in 2017 to compete against each other in a basketball game benefiting a local food bank where admission is one canned food item and the public can donate canned items ahead of the game as well as on the day of the event.
The department with the most items at half time receives 5 extra points on the scoreboard at the half. Individuals can bring more than one item per person. PD fans are encouraged to wear BLUE while FD fans are encouraged to wear RED.
Half time performances will be done by Steele Cheerleaders and Steele Drumline. Special guests will include McGruff the Crime Dog, Eddie Eagle the gun safety mascot, Sparky the Fire Dog, Bee Clean Bee, and more!
The next game will be Friday, March 20, 2020 at 7:00pm at Steele High School, 1300 FM 1103.
