Cibolo Valley Drive Reconstruction

The City of Cibolo is proud to announce that the Cibolo Valley Drive Reconstruction project will begin on Aug. 1, 2022. The contract was awarded to D and D Contractors for $8.1M. The cost of this project is being paid for through Street Maintenance Tax (this is a portion of sales tax NOT property tax that is appropriated to spend on roads within the City Limits).

The entire project is expected to take 12-14 months to complete. The attached graphics are being distributed to adjacent land owners to the construction site. This project has been highly anticipated throughout our community and we are excited to give our main thoroughfare the attention it deserves. City of Cibolo is working closely with SCUCISD to make sure the construction schedule has a minimal impact on traffic during the 2022-2023 school year. We ask for your patience and understanding as we work to get this project completed as quickly as possible. 

The timelines are tentative and may change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The completion estimates are as follows:

Segment 1- Summer 22

Segment 2- Summer 22

Segment 3- Spring 23

Segment 4- Winter 22

Segment 5- Fall 22

Segment 6- Fall 22

Segment 7- Summer 22
