•Phase 1 and 2 (North Main Street Widening, FM 1103 Widening) are nearing completion. Sidewalk work is this phase is underway.
•New traffic control signals have been installed and are now operating. The old traffic control signals have been removed. The RADAR detection system is scheduled to be activated on Wednesday February 27, 2019, which will help with traffic delays during peak operating periods.
•Work in Phase 7 and 8 was started several weeks ago and is moving quickly.
•Initial work in Phase 3 was started on February 25, 2019. This includes installing new under-pavement double 18” squash drainage pipes (2 18” elliptical shaped reinforced concrete pipes) crossing Cibolo Valley Drive. The traffic lanes shift for Phase 3 roadway construction is scheduled for this coming Thursday – February 28th.
•Water main relocation efforts have started and the initial tie in at the FM 1103/CVD intersection will be occurring within the next week. The second tie in north of the Cibolo Storage building will also be completed.
•Phases 5 and 6 – final repaving of the entire project - were originally scheduled for the week of Spring Break, but the weather delays have now moved that paving work back into April. A firm date will be developed by late March.
•The project is expected to be completed by late June 2019 (this includes an extension of time for rain days).
