Chipper Service Update
The City of Cibolo thanks you for your patience as our Public Works crews work our way through the community collecting the limbs and debris from last week’s storm. We have completed over 250 requests, and are continuing to work our way through the streets of each neighborhood. There are some areas of town that we have not yet arrived in to pick up the fallen limbs and trees. Our crews will make one pass through every affected area before returning to areas they have already visited. The chipper service fee will continue to be waived through Aug 2nd. Remember you must submit the online form before our crews will visit your street. The chipping machine cannot chip wet wood, but our crews will continue collecting the limbs and brush using trailers, relocating the debris to the P.W. yard to be chipped once the wood dries.
Again, thank you for your patience as we work to clean up our community as a team.
Many of our residents experienced tree damage as a result of the storms from last night. With more storms expected, we have waived the $20 chipper service fee, any chipper service scheduled after 5pm on August 2nd will be subject to the fee. To sign up for this service please fill out the form, https://www.cibolotx.gov/FormCenter/Utility-Billing-10/Chipper-Service-56
Be sure to read the instructions located above the form to make sure your limbs can be collected. Once you select your subdivision, the scheduled date will populate.
Fences or other debris should be scheduled for a bulk pick up at the below link:
** Update: Due to the number of fences that were damaged, Cibolo's permitting office will not be charging permit fees for fence repair/ replacement. The application must be submitted by Aug 2nd in order to be waived of fees.**
