City of Cibolo residents who use Republic Services for their solid waste, recycling, and bulk pickup needs will resume services on their regularly scheduled routes as of Monday, February 22nd. Missed bulk pick ups and recycling will be next week.

Update on 2/17/2021 at 10:40 AM

Republic Service has notified the City of Cibolo that there will be no trash service today, February 17, 2021.  They are also expecting that there will be no trash service on February 18th, 2021.   Their current plan is as follows.

- Normal Thursday service will occur on Friday, February 19, 2021
- Normal Friday service will occur on Saturday, February 20, 2021

This will be trash service only.  There will be no recycling service this week.

Updated on 2/16/2021 at 6:00 PM

Republic's plan is to have residential and commercial trucks on the road tomorrow around 11:00 am. There is a chance of more frozen this evening and tomorrow morning.  If severe, it could affect these plans although we don’t expect it to be severe and forecasts call for temps to above freezing around 11:00 am tomorrow.  No recycling will be picked up this week.

Here is the plan to make up services:
If  residents normally receive service on Monday or Tuesday, we will service them on Wednesday (tomorrow).
Residents who normally receive service on Wednesday will receive service on Thursday.

Trash Pick Up

Republic Services will not be able to safely run the normal route tomorrow. Please do not endanger yourself putting trash out. We will update for replacement services when the weather settles down. We apologize for the inconvenience but please stay safe and warm inside.
