The White House, Texas Capitol, and many other entities have beautiful custom brass ornaments made each year. They make great keepsakes for generations to come, and they can be made each year to commemorate something historic or interesting in our community. The profits could be used to fund things like playground equipment, beautification, etc. They could be sold year-round, and promoted through the city newsletter, website, or sold in local shops like The Mill, or Emily's, at events like Octoberfest, or at the City Hall windows. They would also make nice and inexpensive rewards/gifts to be distributed as the City Council sees fit. Designs can be simple or elaborate according to budget. The Unified Development Code (UDC) is the primary guide to development within the City of Cibolo. The purpose of the UDC is to promote the public health, safety and general welfare of its citizens as well as the safe, orderly and healthful development of the city. It incorporates procedures, standards and regulations for zoning as well as subdivision applications. The adoption of the 2016 Comprehensive/Master Plan and development continuing at an accelerated pace has triggered the need to update our guidelines. As part of the public input process, the redlined UDC will be posted online soliciting public comments for approximately 30 days. Any questions, comments and/or suggestions may be submitted to staff via phone or email.

The turn sign needs to be moved for the turn only lane into the north side of the Enclave. Every morning and evening I see several near miss accidents because the sign is only viewable once you are almost at the entrance. The drivers swerve in front of other vehicles at the last second, once they realize that they are in a turn only lane. If the sign were further back before they enter the turn lane, they would have time enough to signal and get over into the other lane.
