ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the FM 78 SEWER & LIFT STATION IMPROVEMENTS will be received by The City of Cibolo, at City Hall located at 200 South Main Street, Cibolo Texas 78108 until 10:00 am local time on August 27, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  Interested General Contracting firms must submit a RESPONSE PACKAGE of THREE (3) sealed proposals to: Peggy Cimics, TMRC, Cibolo City Secretary. ENVELOPES MUST BE MARKED:  FM 78 Sewer & Lift Station Improvements Project Sealed Bid Proposal. ATTENTION: Timothy D. Fousse, C.P.M. Director, Public Works and Capital Projects

The Project consists of constructing approximately 590 linear feet of 24” gravity and 9,270 linear feet of 12” force main sewer line construction, steel casing, pavement repair, construction of a new lift station, and associated work.


The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: KFW Engineers, 3421 Paesanos Pkwy, San Antonio, Tx 78231, Attn Rick Gray, . Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of
9am-4pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents also may be examined at Association of General Contractors & Dodge Report plan rooms; online at City of Cibolo purchasing site or; the office of the Cibolo City Hall, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9am-4pm.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above.  Bidding Documents are available on Microsoft “One Drive” online cloud service upon request (as portable document format (PDF) files).  Alternatively, printed plan Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents.  The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $100 per set, payable to “KFW Engineers”, plus a non-refundable shipping charge.  Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen.  The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.  Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.  Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on August 18, 2020 in a virtual setting “teams meeting”, contact prior to August 18th for login information.    Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
