ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the CIBOLO FIRE STATION #3 will be received by The City of Cibolo, at City Hall located at 200 South Main Street, Cibolo Texas 78108 until 10:00 am local time on August 28, 2020, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  Interested General Contracting firms must submit a RESPONSE PACKAGE of THREE (3) sealed proposals to: Peggy Cimics, TMRC, Cibolo City Secretary. ENVELOPES MUST BE MARKED:  Cibolo Fire Station #3 Project Sealed Bid Proposal. ATTENTION: Timothy D. Fousse, C.P.M. Director, Public Works and Capital Projects

7,878 SF, single-story fire station complete with pre-engineered structure, foundation, exterior finishes, interior finishes and systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, all site work as indicated on the procurement documents.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: RVK Architects, Attn Tony Luetkenhaus, . Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below on August 5, 2020 after 1:00pm

Bidding Documents also may be examined at Association of General Contractors & Dodge Report plan rooms; online at City of Cibolo purchasing site or; the office of the Cibolo City Hall, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9am-4pm.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above.  Bidding Documents are available on FTP online cloud service upon request (as portable document format (PDF) files).  Alternatively, A CD ROM of Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office via in-person pick-up, upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents.  The non-refundable cost for CD ROM of Bidding Documents is $15 per set, payable to “RVK ARCHITECTS”.  The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.  Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.  Neither Owner nor Architect will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM local time on August 18, 2020 in a virtual setting “teams meeting”, contact prior to August 18th for login information.  Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
