Mobile Food Vendor Registration

Step 1 - Obtain an approved background check (for all adult workers) from:

  • City of Cibolo Police Department
    • Background checks are valid for one (1) year
Step 2 - Inspections:

  •  Health Inspection: 
    • The health inspector will contact you to set up an appointment once the permitting department has received confirmation of an approved background check(s) from the Cibolo Police Department
  • Fire Inspection: 
    • Fire inspections - Tuesday or Friday mornings at 8:30 a.m.
    • To set up an appointment for a fire inspection, please contact the permit office at 210-658-4175
    • Location for inspection - City Hall Annex Building located at 201 Loop 539 W (across from Fire Station # 1)
      • Side driveway that curves toward the entry doors

Step 3 - Once the inspections have passed, provide the following items to the permit office:

Step 4 - Registration:

  • Fee is $95.00
    • Valid for a year from the date of registration
Step 5 - Upon payment of registration you will be issued:

  • Mobile Food Vendor Registration
  • Food Establishment Permit sticker for your vehicle
