Rezoning
Rezoning Application ProcessZoning is the practice of classifying areas and properties to allow for specific uses. With Council direction and a Committee of several residents, the City moved forward with the an update of Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map. By doing so, The City of Cibolo will be able to create a tax base, promote smart growth, and protect our great neighborhoods! See Zoning Map
The process for rezoning is outlined in Section 4.3.1 of the UDC.
The following items are required upon submittal to be considered a complete application:
- Complete and notarized Universal Development Application (UDA)
- Fees according to City Ordinance 1232
- A letter of intent outlining request and how the applicant meets the criteria listed in Section 4.3.1.5 of the UDC
- Proof of ownership of the applicant property
Conditional Use Permit (CUP)
The process for rezoning is outlined in Section 4.3.2 of the UDC.
