Parks and Recreation


MISSION STATEMENT
The Parks and Recreation Division's mission is to promote social equity through health and wellness opportunities and the conservation of our natural heritage.

The City of Cibolo Parks and Recreation Division maintains approximately 200 acres of park land with four city parks that include Niemietz Park, Al Rich Park, Schlather Park, and Veterans’ Memorial Park. You can find amenities such as barbeque grills, basketball courts, pavilions, picnic tables, playscape equipment, and other sports fields baseball, soccer, and football. Parks and Recreation also host many community events throughout the year that are free and family-friendly. Learn more about CiboloFest, Cibolo Summer Nights, and Downtown Market Days at Special Events. 

In partnership with the Comal County Senior Citizens Foundation, the City of Cibolo opened the Cibolo Senior Program to provide a space for the senior citizens of Cibolo.
