Volunteer Applications

If you are interested in volunteering with Animal Services, please submit a completed Volunteer Application Form (PDF) to the Police Department lobby or mail to:

Please note: If the applicant is under the age of 18, the application also must be signed by a legal guardian. Children ages 11-15 years of age must be accompanied by their parent/guardian. Those 16 years of age and older may be unaccompanied with a mode of transportation.

Application Processing

Once your application has been received and processed, you will be contacted by Animal Services staff to schedule an orientation date. It may take up to a month to process applications. Thank you for your patience. The email or phone call will provide information on how you can sign up for the required orientation session as well as provide any other information you may need to know before volunteering at the shelter.
