Fire

Message from the Chief

Hello,

I want to welcome you to the new Cibolo Fire Department website as you navigate through our site, we hope you find this information handy and beneficial.  Our goal on this website is to provide valuable resources and easy accessibility to our citizens and visitors in a centralized location.

The Cibolo Fire Department has grown and changed along with our great city over the years. The Cibolo Fire Department first began as a Volunteer Fire Department in 1956 with only one [1] Fire Station.  Over the years the growth of the city has prompted this small department to quickly transition into a Municipal Fire Station.  The Cibolo Fire Department operates out of three [3] Fire Stations and currently employs 39 members: 37 full-time Firefighters, 1 Fire Marshal, and 1 Executive Assistant.  The department has highly skilled and trained firefighters on duty 24 hours-a-day to provide high-quality emergency service to the residents of Cibolo and the citizens of the Guadalupe County/ETJ Area.

The Cibolo Fire Department values community involvement and will be adding special events throughout the year for the public to attend and interact with our firefighters.  We also enjoy educating our citizens on Fire Safety and will share educational fire prevention material on our social media platforms.

If you would like to schedule a tour or visit one of our facilities, please stop by the Administration Office at Fire Station #1 and we will be glad to assist you.

We look forward to seeing you at one of our fire stations or community events!

Sincerely,
Mario Troncoso, Fire Chief
