The Records Section is responsible for distributing, maintaining, and storing all reports and supplements generated by the department's different divisions.

• Maintaining statistics reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety and FBI
• Responding to open records requests
• Alarm Permit Applications and management
• Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Crash Reports
