The Records Section is responsible for distributing, maintaining, and storing all reports and supplements generated by the department's different divisions.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Maintaining statistics reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety and FBI
• Responding to open records requests
• Alarm Permit Applications and management
• Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Crash Reports

To make an open records request, please complete the New Request Form. Some requests may be made in person in the Police Department lobby during normal business hours. Contact the records personnel at (210) 659-1999 for more information.
